There is no phone service or Wi-Fi inside the club during DJ nights so you can’t add anybody on social media you meet and you have to rely on them adding you back the next day when you’re finally able to add them when you leave the club. Please fix this and the sweat that drips from the ceiling. I have met multiple girls and was unable to add myself on Snapchat on their phone because you don’t have phone service. With all the money you make from cover charges & alcohol you need to provide phone service or Wi-Fi to your customers. The only time there’s phone service here is when it is almost completely empty. It’s a shame because it is a lit spot and very fun. Fix the phone service problem and even more people will come! I appreciate you playing a bunch of new music with a lot of variety every weekend! That and all the people that go here are are what makes this spot fun!

We were at Virginia Tech visiting the campus, and there happened to be a fair going on downtown, which is conveniently connected to the campus. My son recommended that we give this place a try since some of his friends had told him about it. We ordered the fried rice along with the steak, shrimp, and chicken. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. The food was decent overall, with good portions and okay flavor. Nothing really stood out, but we still enjoyed our meal and the experience. I wouldn’t mind coming back again the next time we’re visiting the Virginia Tech campus.

The Burg is such a great place to eat as it has delicious food and reasonable prices. My go to options are Lomo Saltado and Aji de Gallina which have great flavor and are very filling. There’s also Inca Kola golden (Peruvian soda) which is hard to find in Blacksburg and if you haven’t tried it before I highly recommend coming here and trying it. The chips and salsa when you dine in are always so good, I almost always ask for a refill. The main server who works here i always so welcoming and attentive as her serves you. But if you don’t want/can’t dine in The Burg is also on Doordash which I have ordered before and it turns out great! I’ve had such great memories eating at The Burg such as my first date with my boyfriend, eating with my family when coming back after the summer, and eating here for my birthday with my best friend. The Burg is always my first recommendation if someone wants to eat downtown.
