We stopped by after the VT football game, especially after such a great win, and we completely understood that the restaurant was going to be extremely crowded and that there would be a wait. We had preordered through DoorDash, and the app notified us that our order was ready. When we arrived, though, we were told at the counter that they didn’t have our order. We contacted DoorDash support, but unfortunately they were not willing to refund us. There were also several other customers waiting for their orders, and you could tell there was a lot of frustration and confusion. At first, it seemed like there wasn’t much organization at the counter. Orders were being handed out without much communication about who they belonged to. When we asked for help, the employee at the counter explained that his job was mainly to handle the boxes and fill the ranch cups and that assisting with the orders was not his responsibility. Thankfully, our experience wasn’t completely negative. Shaggy, if I remember his name correctly, stepped in and helped us with our order. We really appreciated that. Throughout everything, he remained calm, respectful, and never rude or mean to anyone, even with how hectic and crowded things were. He stood his ground and continued helping customers, and we genuinely appreciated his attitude. We understand that a busy night after a VT football game can be chaotic, and we weren’t expecting everything to be perfect. However, better communication and organization when handling online orders would definitely make the experience much smoother. We appreciate Shaggy for stepping up and helping us when things got confusing. That kind of customer service makes a difference.
