From the moment I sat down, the experience was consistently excellent. Food: I ordered the Joe’s Breakfast (biscuit, country ham, grits, and eggs) with coffee. Everything arrived hot and perfectly cooked. The biscuit was flaky, the country ham had a nice salty-cured flavor without being overpowering, the grits were creamy and well-seasoned, and the eggs were cooked to order. Portions were generous and balanced — a satisfying plate that tasted like a carefully prepared home-cooked meal. Service: The waitress was a standout. Friendly, professional, and attentive without being intrusive. Drinks were refilled promptly, questions were answered clearly, and the pace of the meal was exactly right. Her service elevated the meal from good to memorable. Atmosphere and value: The diner has a welcoming, no-frills atmosphere that suits the menu. Prices felt fair for the portion sizes and quality. Larry Harris6-21-2026 - I came across this very little place by researching on maps We were looking for something to eat for breakfast after a game we had at Virginia Tech. This place is a small dinner. It has booths and stools to sit on. It doesn't seat, but a small amount of people (downfall). Second, downfall is they do not have parking for this place. So it is extremely difficult to get or find a place to park. So you're better off walking or planning on walking a little ways based off time and day but the menu is very large, with lots of items that look particularly good. The items I ordered was very good. The place was clean. The waitress we had was nice but extremely quiet. All and all this place was actually a very nice place to eat for breakfast. I recommend trying it if your in the area.

Samual SproatJoe’s Diner is THE BEST! Mariana is the BEST waitress, the food is DELICIOUS, and the vibe is ALWAYS GREAT! Even today when the diner was a little busy and Mariana was the only one up front, she still KILLED IT!
