Stayed here because they were pet friendly and affordable. The staff at check in was friendly enough and the room was perfect for what we needed to crash for the night. The room was worn but clean, and the hotel is clearly undergoing a remodel to fix this.

The Good: The room was exceptionally clean, and all of the furnishings and amenities worked as intended. There was plenty of well-lit parking, and the price point was very reasonable for the overall stay. A special shout-out to the housekeeper who serviced my room (428?) prior to my arrival. She/He is a rock star and clearly takes pride in cleanliness. I wish I knew her name so I could give her proper recognition, as there was no calling card in the room, but I made sure to leave a tip. The bathroom, in particular, was immaculate. The Not-So-Good: The arrival experience could use some attention. Upon entering the hotel, I found two agents behind the front desk engaged in a conversation about the status of rooms. I stood at the desk for approximately three or four minutes before being acknowledged by the female agent. I am not a hotelier by profession, but it seems to me that when a guest walks through the door, they should be acknowledged and welcomed immediately. Even a simple “Good evening, we’ll be right with you” would make a significant difference. Guests also should not be left standing at the desk while listening to internal staff discussions. That initial interaction sets the tone for the entire stay, and in this case, it unfortunately contributed to the feeling that the property was more focused on operations than hospitality. This ties directly into my next observation: the lobby and entrance area felt extremely sterile and uninviting. Although the facility itself was very clean, there was little about the entrance that made it feel warm, welcoming, or particularly hospitable. A little artwork or photography on the walls, some comfortable seating, and perhaps soft background music would make the first impression much more inviting. The lobby also lacked some of the basic amenities I would normally expect when arriving at a hotel, such as complimentary coffee or water. There was a refrigerator, but it was completely empty. Even something as simple as coffee, bottled water, or a small refreshment station would add a nice touch and improve the overall guest experience. The property was also difficult to locate because there was no visible signage from the road indicating where to turn or how to access the hotel. Since the hotel is tucked between other businesses, this could be especially challenging at night or during inclement weather. A few well-placed, highly visible directional signs would go a long way toward making arrival easier for guests. I’m not sure whether the property is currently undergoing refurbishment or whether the minimalist appearance is simply a design or cost-saving choice. Either way, the entrance and common areas could benefit from a little more attention and warmth. Overall, the facility is OK, but it has all the ingredients to be GREAT! The rooms, cleanliness, parking, and value are already strong. With a little more attention to the arrival experience, staff engagement, signage, atmosphere, and basic guest amenities, this property could make a significantly stronger first impression and deliver a much more welcoming overall experience.

I've stayed here several times and have never had a bad experience. Yeah, some of the rooms need some updates, but last time I was there renovations had started and there's supplies piled everywhere to be used to update. There isn't a snack machine and beverage cooler seems to always be empty. Honestly, the location isn't great because there is only 1 restaurant within walking distance, but the price is fair and the staff is always friendly and helpful.
