I popped into the shop for some crank bearings, and the owner took a peek at my spindle I brought in. He suggested I replace it entirely. He had a used Square Tapered spindle to replace my Cottered Tapered spindle that he noticed was rusted and offered it for just $21. He said it’s a better spindle overall. I took it home, installed it, and now I can pedal without any noise.

You can see Dave’s passion for bikes and actually helping the customer without charging an arm and a leg.
