Service here is always incredible. NA cocktails are delicious, one of the best place in the area for a mocktail. Dinner is wonderful, I highly recommend the pork chop and the duck.

Fantastic flavors! Better than I remembered. If you haven't visited 622 in a while, get yourself in here. Custom cocktail creations, fantastic soup and salads, awesome apps, and flavorful entrees. The Verdant Vines cocktail will thrill any gin lover (Gin | Celery Juice | Cucumber | orange blossom water | verjus cordial | soda) so refreshing and unique. I started with a 3 Floyd's Blot Out The Sun bourbon barrel aged stout. When I realized how good it was, I saved it for dessert and it got better as it warmed up. The Yee-haw Cerveza Mexican Lager made a great compliment to the Soup du Jour: Indian Ginger & Pepper, which we shared before the my 622 Salad featuring a unique batter on the crispy chicken... so delicious! My wife's pork chops were thick and juicy and full of flavor. Tiramisu and the stout made the perfect dessert. Our classy server Maddie made the perfect tour guide on a top-shelf visit that raises the bar for culinary experiences in Blacksburg. Well done all around!

Attended a dinner here for a graduation of a friend from VA Tech. A reservation was made for 14 people. We arrived and were greeted by the host. The host verified the table was ready and then we were shown to the table. I had no idea how big this place is! You walk in and there is a bar area, but the restaurant is huge and has a lot of tables. Our waiter was prompt and and got the beverages going and appetizers ordered. When the restaurant of the party showed up orders were taken. I ordered the risotto with shrimp. The wait for the food was less than 30 minutes which was pretty good for a party of 14! The waiter was excellent with refills for drinks. My risotto unfortunately did not come with the shrimp as ordered. I also found the dish way too sweet. It was more like a dessert. I was offered a free dessert l, but they ran out of the cake. With good service like that I would definitely go back and try the place again. Orders can get mixed up and the customer service shows this place cares about the dining experience.

I'm not exactly sure how to rate this place. It looks like a dive bar with sticky floors and mismatched furniture, but has a rather upscale menu and is definitely pricier than expected. They have a great variety of drinks and our cheese board and soup were delicious. The burger was just ok, but the service was great and both our waiter and the hostess were very friendly and welcoming.

We all enjoyed dinner (party of 5) celebrating a VT graduation. Food was good, as was service. Only complaint was that we were seated in an area that was exceptionally cold. Thanks to the waiter who finally plugged in a portable heater that kept us from freezing.
