We recently visited India Garden Restaurant in Virginia. The restaurant is quite spacious and has a comfortable seating arrangement. During our visit, they were experiencing an AC issue, but they had set up coolers to help guests stay comfortable. We ordered the lamb chops, chicken tikka masala, and butter chicken. The food was decent and tasted okay, though it didn’t particularly stand out. Overall, it was an average dining experience with good space and efforts made by the staff to manage the cooling situation.

I was greeted and seated warmly and quickly. The interior is very nice and decorated. I was so happy to have finally found an Indian lunch buffet! The Roanoke area used to have a few and now unfortunately they are long gone. Luckily this restaurant is great! My favorite savory choice was the potato/cauliflower dish - quite flavorful! Loved the naan! The chicken and sauce dishes were delicious. The creamy vegetable soup was the surprise of the day for me I went back three times it was soooo good! To finish I tried two cold desserts and both were great. I can't wait to go back!

This is easily my favorite restaurant in Blacksburg. Great variety of dishes and almost everything I've tried here has been good. The Paneer Masala and Dal Makhani are my favorites. Even my dad who proclaims not to like Indian food has found dishes he likes here. My mom and dad used to really enjoy splitting the Tandoori mixed grill dish. The staff is delightful if you're dining in, and the restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere, and take-out is also an option, if you just want to eat at home.

staff were great. incredibly friendly and patient, service was overall wonderful. food was tasty, and though a little pricey, it's worth it because you can usually get 2 or 3 meals worth of leftovers. it's a bit dark in there but otherwise the atmosphere is nice when dining in. ordering delivery via uber eats, the food was hot and the flavor wasn't compromised by any means

Went today and food was not bad. We ordered baigan bartha (quite nice, had smoky flavor), korma (sweeter flavor) and dal makhani. Service was prompt and professional. Would highly recommend trying the baigan bartha really nice flavors. Dal makhani was a bit watery thus dropping one star. Worth a visit.
