Liz EngelkeWe were happy to find this dog park as we passed through Blacksburg for the night. Parking was easy and plentiful (we were the only car & only dog). The park was filled with lots of wood chips that still needed to be spread out. There are a number of ramps and tunnels for dogs who enjoy those. Our dog really enjoyed his free-time sniffing everything and we appreciated the hospitality.

Cynthia ObristLarge park, mostly thick mulch. Often find it empty, though, so not reliable for socialization. In warm weather, ticks are heavy. Also have seen nonvenomous snakes a couple of times. It's surrounded by pasture and wild land, so not unexpected.

Hannah RossBig side is awesome for dogs! Small side has a TON of ticks so make sure to check your pup and yourself after you leave! Definitely stick to the big side of you can help it, supposed to be for dogs over 30 pounds but it’s almost every size dog on that side!
