This playground was exceptionally nice! We visited with a cross country team who enjoyed the ninja course with timers and a 40 yd dash with timers. There was exercise equipment, inclusive playgrounds, a splash pad, shelter and nice restrooms.

Very new park with lots of options: a great playgrounds with equipment for the youngest through adult conditioning an a popular obstacle course type area, ball fields dog park, trails, and very nice picnic shelters. The local IWW branch hosted a picnic all day at the one on the hill and it worked great even in the wind, including a grill and power for our sound system. My only complaints are that the hilltop shelter is a fair walk up the hill with paths but no road to bring your things and that when the wind was just right, the gutters on the shelter sounded like a very large kazoo. Very accessible play area including waterproof wheelchair for splash pad and mobility friendly rubber pad on most of the playground.

On our way home from a road trip, we decided to stop at Huckleberry Park, and we're so glad we did! This is one of the most thoughtfully designed parks we've visited. There are so many fun play areas and activities for kids of all ages, and everything feels clean, spacious, and well maintained. The parent-child swings were definitely the highlight—they're such a great idea and made for a fun experience together. If you're passing through Christiansburg or looking for a great family-friendly park, Huckleberry Park is absolutely worth a stop!

I stopped by this dog park and it is so clean and well maintained! Large dog lot and small dogs (less than 35lbs) are available. Fake grass, dog poop bags, toys, and water bowls! Very pleased with this area.

We’ve been visiting this park for quite some time, and it’s always a great experience. The park is very clean, well maintained, and has plenty of space for walking and enjoying the outdoors. The large splash pad is a huge hit with kids, and it’s wonderful to see so many families having fun there. There are also lots of activities and play areas for children of all ages. There is a separate dog park, which is a great addition for pet owners. Overall, it’s an excellent place for walking, jogging, spending time with family, or simply relaxing. Highly recommend this park!
