University Mall in Blacksburg is a classic, convenient spot that really grows on you. It’s not a huge mall, but it has everything you actually need in one place — from restaurants and shops to essentials for students and locals. The location is perfect, just minutes from the Virginia Tech campus, and there’s always plenty of parking, which makes quick stops super easy. What I really like is how consistent and reliable this mall is. Whether you’re grabbing something from the stores, picking up takeout, or just running errands, everything feels simple and stress-free. It’s one of those places that becomes part of your routine without you even realizing it. Clean, safe, and well-maintained. If you’re in Blacksburg or connected to VT, University Mall is definitely a solid go-to spot.

Hole in the wall alert. When we entered we enjoyed the decor but was concerned do to the lack of customers or even staff at first. But then the fun started... Overloaded plates of food were delivered which we were very optimistic about the quality at first, that was quickly replaced with awe and a big smile as all the food was quite tasty and importantly textures were spot on. This will be another stop for us when we stop in Blacksburg. Lol at the pics and see how generous the portions are.

Small mall with restaurants, math emporium, gym, and salon. It's cute and nice.

Very very very very very very good new cuisine! I would not have been able to tell you anything about Himalayan food before eating here and now I can tell you that it is great. Delicious with lots of flavor and not too strong. Very soothing and delicious. Come check it out. You can't go wrong. Chicken, pork, beef, tofu, all win!
