Christiansburg Marketplace is great overall. The big issue for me is the damn road in that area, it is rough, full of bumps, pot holes and just rough asphalt all together.

It's nice to see this plaza making a comeback with food options aplenty and relevant stores. It might be interesting to see a coffee and donut place or food trucks in the often empty middle of the parking lot. Throw a brew pub in there with outdoor seating and you might tip the scales. Speaking of the parking lot, it is well marked and signed.

I went to the Harbor Freight parking lot sale, which was indoors because it was the extended version. I was able to use most of the coupons I had brought. A few things were out of stock. Fair enough this late in the sale. I was satisfied with the experience and the helpful checkout person.

The Marketplace Shopping Center is an up and coming wonder. You have a few different places to grab lunch or dinner!! And I’ve tried them all and they all are very good!! 😊 And as I don’t frequent it often…Earth Fare is a very nice grocery store with good prices. You’ll find things there that not all stores carry. It’s a very welcoming place!! And I just love Harbor Freight!! They have to have some of the best prices around. A heck of a lot cheaper than Lowes or Home Depot and everyone there is very friendly and helpful!! I bought a jump box there and if it wasn’t for the employee that really helped me I would have not gotten such a good reliable jump box. Their sales are really good too! I recommend visiting one or more of the stores or restaurants in the Marketplace!! 🩷
