Great place located in a shopping center. My daughters now consider this their happy place. First off, the service was friendly and the restrooms were clean. But down to the main course, the food was fantastic and authentic. It made me feel like I was visiting El Salvador without needing a passport. We aren’t local to the area, but we’ll make sure this is a regular stop whenever we’re traveling through Virginia.

The pupuseria Mari has amazingly good pupusas! Very Authentic...soooo good. The restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly. I got my food quickly and the prices are extremely reasonable for the quality of food. Good portions. This is my new favorite Mexican food restaurant. Yum!!

Was devastated when I thought they'd closed down after their previous locations went vacant but delighted to know they just relocated here. Always a great meal from Pupuseria Mari. We come here pretty often when we feel like eating out. Housemade salsas are lovely. Portions are generous. Food is delicious. Wait times for food can be a little long but adjust your expectations accordingly for what is most likely a scratch kitchen. It's a charming place with plenty of decor (and plant life!).
