Lane Stadium is always a blast! Excited for the 2026 Hokies season. The first game was a complete blowout with Tech winning by 70. There was so much excitement and it was the most packed I have seen Lane Stadium in a long time.

Lane Stadium is the home stadium of the Virginia Tech Hokies and one of the most famous college football venues in the United States. It has a seating capacity of about 65,000+ fans and is known for its intense atmosphere, especially during big games. The stadium is most famous for the tradition of “Enter Sandman,” where the entire crowd jumps and roars as the team runs onto the field—creating one of the loudest and most energetic entrances in college football.

Enter Sandman! Night game atmosphere is electric, even though the team isn’t what it once was. I sat in a VIP box and was treated like royalty. Good food and drink, very comfortable. Hope the Hokies can return to glory soon.

There is nothing like the experience of Lane Stadium on game day. When “Enter Sandman” starts blasting and the entire stadium starts jumping up and down, it’s pure electricity. The roar of the crowd, the energy, the intensity it’s easily one of the best atmospheres in college football. The backdrop of the Appalachian Mountains makes it even more stunning. Seeing the Hokies run out onto the field with those mountain views behind the stadium is a scene you’ll never forget. Make sure you grab a turkey leg while you’re there it’s basically a must do. Lane Stadium is hands down one of my favorite college stadiums. The fans, the energy, the tradition… it’s unbeatable! LET’S GO HOKIES! 🦃🏈

This is an awesome place to watch a football game. This was our second game at Lane Stadium, and there doesn't seem to be a bad seat in the house. The fans are very and friendly, and the introduction is the best I have seen. Metallica's "Sandman" booms through the stadium, setting the tone very early. Too cool.
