I've raised hogs, chicken and beef. When I cooked the sausage and there was only a tablespoon or 2 of oil in the pan when the cook was done. That means all meat and no fat! Well worth the $.

This is the place to buy some great meat and support the FST meat science program. There are some staples that are almost always available like ground beef, pork, & lamb, and there is usually some kind of sausage. Some things are often available but change up like the selection of fresh cuts & sausages, bologna, brats, beef snack sticks (slim Jims)... Then there are the items from the smokehouse that are only available every once in a while & sell out fast. The brisket, hams, & pulled pork are all great. When there is bacon the line forms at least an hour before opening and it is usually gone in under 30 minutes. There are two dedicated parking spaces. People also park everywhere in the FST lot and along the street if there's something really good. The Facebook page is the way to keep up with them.

The meat center here is a such a hidden gem. Fresh meat cuts with high quality at great prices. Not every cut of meat is in-stock each time, but it's still worth checking out. You can check their Facebook page to see whether a particular item is in-stock.
