We were on a road trip and our rv had some issues on the highway. While it was being fixed, we figured we would get some lunch. Everyone recommended Poppy's and it did not disappoint! When we walked in, there were probably 3 or 4 tables of people in front of us. After we ordered, we waited maybe 10 minutes for our food. We all enjoyed every bite. Our rv was done by the time we finished, but we decided to get some ice cream for the road and that was a great choice! If youre in the area, make a stop at Poppy's. You'll be glad you did!

First, if you're in a hurry don't go to Poppy's! There are sooo many treats to choose from it always takes longer to decide than to eat! We love this place, the staff are extremely personable and helpful, the service is quick and everything we've had was delicious. The portions are way more than generous, I only wish they were farther away so I'm not so tempted. You are doing yourself an injustice if you don't stop in! Thanks to everyone at Poppy's, we appreciate you!

Chicken salad sliders are delicious, as are the "red" hotdogs!!! Chili is great too. The banana splits are some of the best too. Ohhhh, and the bbq is delicious. They also have alot of delicious looking scoop ice cream.!! Service is EXCELLENT! THANK YOU for being a part of our community.

Stop what you’re doing and go to Poppy’s—you won’t regret it. This place serves one of the best banana splits I’ve ever had. The ice cream was rich and creamy, the bananas were perfectly ripe, the hot fudge was incredible, and the whipped cream and cherries were the perfect finishing touch. Everything was fresh, generously portioned, and made with care. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was welcoming, and it’s the kind of place that reminds you how great a classic ice cream shop can be. If you’re anywhere near Christiansburg, this is a must-stop destination. I’ll definitely be coming back!
