Whenever I visit a hotel, the hospitality is the most important aspect for me. As soon as we arrived, the front desk staff shined with personality and a spirit of service, and that is what sets the tone for the stay. The rooms were clean and the facilities were on the newer side of things. Nothing felt outdated or old. I appreciated the service at the bar as the bar hand remembered me and my drink order each day. I was there for a workshop my Fraternity held at Virginia Tech and they had signs welcoming my Fraternity for the duration of our stay. They definitely focused on the hospitality part of the hospitality business.

This location just went through a remodel. One can tell that the team takes pride in the customer experience, by keeping a really clean and hospitable environment. I had the pleasure of speaking with several Marriott associates, during my visit. All of the associates, were overwhelming kind and supportive of guest requests. If you are considering staying at this location, I would highly recommend. I am not one to leave negative reviews. I typically only take time to respond with a review, when I feel courtesy, consideration and respect for others, is apparent. Thank you Marriott Blacksburg for being a "bright light" of hospitality.
