We stayed one night when visiting family in Christiansburg. The whole place was very nice. It had a private, cottage vibe to it. My kids loved the little fish pond back by the cottage and everything was clearly cared for Nicely. The eating area was nicely kept and relaxing. Highly recommend staying here if in Christiansburg!

Great getaway location to rest, relax, and have some peace and quiet. The room I stayed in felt very welcoming, the bed was also very comfortable and I'm going to look into getting one for my home, the garden area and around the property looked pretty. Structurally it looks very well taken care of and hopefully it will continue to stay open as a BnB for a long time. Overall the price for one night was not a bad deal considering the timeless luxury you step into once you arrive.

My daughter and I stayed at the Oaks Victorian Inn so I could help move her into her dorm.m and we had a lovely experience. It was very convenient to VT and the surrounding shops for some last minute shopping and dining. We took our time in the morning and enjoyed breakfast on the front porch-a relaxing time before the busy morning of moving in and saying goodbye. Breakfast was really good and staff was super friendly.

Booked this place rather last minute for a nicer spot to rest as we made a roadtrip for our anniversary. I opted in for the breakfast experience in the morning thinking that would be a nice start to the day. They texted me asking for our breakfast order and what time we wanted to be served. We selected the earliest time slot, 7:30. We arrived around 10:15pm and couldn’t get into our room. We both entered the code and neither one of us could get it open. I texted that same number where we placed our food order, and got the response “did you decide to stay with us after all?” Well yes… we just discussed what we’re eating in the morning. The manager was very quick to show up and help us get into the room and was very nice. We had trouble getting in every time we had to open the door. It never worked on the first, or even third try. The next morning, 7:30 rolls around and there’s not a soul in sight. I text the number again and ask if anyone is making breakfast, since we have a tight travel schedule we need to be getting on the road soon. At 7:39 I send another message- still no response. At 8:06 I let them know we are checking out and to not worry about breakfast. It’s currently after 9:30am and I still haven’t heard from anybody. Pros: room was very clean and spacious, bed was comfy and the place is pretty cute. Cons: although they are friendly, communication is a little whacky and I guess you can’t depend on the “breakfast” part of the bed and breakfast.

This was my second stay at Oaks Victorian Inn. I was visiting Christiansburg on both occasions to attend a local theater festival and see some plays. I chose it for location in the first place. I parked my car for the weekend and walked to the theater and to downtown restaurants for meals. However, the Inn and my room turned out to be lovely. Decorated in the period style, but with all the modern amenities. I intend to come back next year for the festival and hope there will be a room available at the Inn then as well. Beautiful place to stay for our wedding night. Had some issues with my card, and I mistakenly booked the wrong day, but Kristen was very helpful and solved the issue immediately. I loved all of the details and antiques inside! Our only regret is that we didn’t book a second night! Highly recommend.
