So, I have never gotten a tattoo here, however, I live in Christiansburg & walk my dog downtown regularly. It has been especially hot lately & last week my dog laid in Sub Rosa’s doorway to catch a break in the shade. Not only were they happy to let her block their entrance, they brought her a fresh bowl of water. I’m delighted to have such caring & thoughtful neighbors who consider the health & happiness of all their clients, even the four-legged, non-paying types.

All of my tattoos done here have been phenomenal, Beck is wonderful and very communicative and comfortable to be around. The environment working with him feels very safe, which is hard to find in the current climate. I fully recommend him and his style to everyone I come across looking for new ink. (:

I have a few tattoos but no piercings. Got my first one this week. Kari is phenomenal and talked me through it since I had some anxiety over it. Ashley at the front desk was beyond amazing as well!

Had an existing ear tattoo touched up and had my new friend Jesse create a matching one for my other ear. They turned out just as I had hoped! I’ve since come back and gotten my newest piece on my arm as a walk in. The place was well organized, clean, and every person I met at Sub Rosa was professional and caring. Whether it’s tattoos or piercings this is a great place to be.
