I used to visit Summit fairly regularly years ago, and when my dad recently said he’d heard about it from some friends and wanted to try it, we decided to check It out. The location and property were just as I remembered, very tranquil, relaxing and peaceful. A wonderful, unique spot. Their menu has many options, meat, seafood, vegetarian, and it was very hard to narrow it down to one selection! After our oyster appetizer and nice, fresh salads, my dad and I had the shrimp & scallops and my wife had the crab encrusted groupers. All were enjoyed greatly. They have a decent selection of wine & beer; it’d be nice if they were able to offer a drink menu too, but that certainly isn’t enough to keep me away. For one of the nicest locations around Christiansburg/Blacksburg, and some very enjoyable and novel dishes, oh, and great service, I highly recommend Summit.

Incredibly charming restaurant and equally wonderful meal. Our waiter (Abdul) was lovely and kind, cannot give enough props to him for elevating our experience tenfold. We went on a Monday afternoon, so seating was plentiful and the restaurant wasn't very busy at all - thus can't speak to the service when it's more bustling as most of the other reviews seem to be concerned about, but I'm sure they try their best with the staffing they have on-hand. Everything was well-seasoned, cooked to perfection, and tasted incredible. Prices are reasonable for the effort put into their craft (presentation, plating, etc), ambiance, and the level of service you receive - especially considering that a soup or salad (caesar/garden) come complimentary with purchase of an entree. Would love to come back here again.
