I ended up staying at this Holiday Inn because the one in Blacksburg was much more expensive, and I’m really glad I decided to give this hotel a chance. The property was very nice and appeared to have been remodeled within the last few years. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the bathrooms were updated with stand-up showers. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was surprisingly good, with plenty of options including pancakes, turkey sausage, omelets, eggs, cereal, and more. Check-in was quick and easy, especially using the Holiday Inn app. The location was also convenient—right off the exit and only about a 10-minute drive to Virginia Tech. The only downside was the parking situation the night I stayed. An RV was taking up about six parking spaces, but that really wasn’t the hotel’s fault. Other than that, I had a great experience.

Clean rooms, reasonable prices, super friendly staff helped this clearly eyed traveler check-in in the middle of the night. The convenience to the highway is a much added perk. It was the perfect stop on our way to our destination.

Hotel has a perfect location being right of 81. It is clean, quiet and the employees are very friendly. Special thanks to Fran who kept the breakfast selection fresh and abundant! We appreciate the options that were offered as well as the quality!

They have breakfast with gluten free options! They offer Fudge Rounds to guests!! When you stay here you will wish it wasn’t express—you will want to stay for a long time!! Weeks! Tina at the front desk was extremely helpful as she skillfully addressed our party’s needs. Thanks Tina and thanks to this great location!

Very clean, responsive staff. Breakfast was very good, the pancake machine was out of order. That kind of thing happens, no biggie. I would very much recommend this hotel for anyone traveling through Christianburg.
