Very nice trail! I’d say it is easy/moderate until the very end where the rock scramble is. The rock scramble was challenging because I didn’t want to get my shoes wet. Definitely doable though and I’m not very athletic.
May 16, 2026 · Google ReviewWe enjoyed the scenery and were one of 2 people on the trail when we arrived! It was very fun, some crossing of a the stream on rocks, so wear your shoes with tractions! All in all a great stay. The water was a little thin when we arrived but still beautiful and we saw the formation of some icicles!
Nov 29, 2025 · Google ReviewHad a great hike! Trail is a nice nature hike, not manicured like your state maintained trails but still very nice. My GPS showed about 1.7 miles from the parking lot to the falls. It was an easy accent. There are a few places that you need to be careful and take your time but it's not bad. The falls are beautiful! I will make this hike again.
Sep 30, 2021 · Google ReviewIts great little hike. A little confusing at the entrance bc you have to go through a church retreat campus to get to it...but you are in the right place if you happen upon a methodist church lol. Once you get to real trailhead follow the white marks...though they can be hard to see. Just realize that you need to cross the creek pretty much right away even though there are paths on both sides and you should find the white marks. It's also $5 to park and you need to sign in and out...which you will see the form where you park!
Apr 19, 2025 · Google ReviewWe loved this trail! We are not seasoned hikers and went with our tennis shoes . Starts out on a gravel driveway for about half mile before you get into woods. Once in the woods there is a gradual incline but not too bad. You cross a creek at 2 spots walking across rocks. It’s all in a valley so getting lost would be pretty hard! And there white dots painted trees to keep you on trail … 3/4 of way up there’s a section that’s about a 6 foot incline with rocks to step up and about a 20 foot section that’s about 8 inches wide then walk across stream again and you’ll see the most beautiful waterfall!! Whole trail was maybe 3 miles .. didn’t take long and didn’t seem long cause it’s very interesting. Not looking at just trees. It’s all along the creek and very beautiful!! Others say they took dogs and although that may be I wouldn’t take mine. Some drop offs are narrow with a ?20 foot drop.. it was amazing! They don’t charge for parking or hiking but we left $20 in the donation box .. it was a blast and it’s hard to believe they do t charge.. and the ladies in the office were the friendliest people you ever wanna meet! I chose moderate cause they don’t really give an accurate option but it’s easy with a couple maybe moderate sections but overall easy.. Our heart rates stayed about average
