What a cute park! I loved reading the small historical markers to learn more about the place, and the walnut grove was very peaceful. The walking paths were well-maintained. My dog, kids, and I will be back again to explore! Also, if you're reading this in summer 2026, there's a fundraiser to save the park, as the land where the parking lot is will be auctioned off. I can't post a link but search for "help save harvey lee price park"
Jul 1, 2026 · Google ReviewBeautiful place. Nice trails that are well maintained. Easy access to the creek. Nice shady walk.
Jun 27, 2026 · Google ReviewThis is a nice, well maintained trail, which is relatively flat and free of roots/large rocks, making it great for running. Looking at the map, Im not sure I saw the path to the end of the yellow trail, and there definitely is a "loop" at the end where the 2 creeks meet (you will go over 2 bridges). ~~~~• UPDATE: To make it all the way to Stroubles Creek Road, you will have to cross the creek via rocks. At some point you get to a well maintained/mowed small area, and it looks like a path takes you to the creek and dead ends (see photo of my first run, this is where I dead ended and turned around). Look to your left, you will see the creek and rocks you can cross. Once you cross, you will see the trail and what looks like a gravel road, both will take you to the end. There is a picnic table along the trail here. Strouble Creek road is great for running, I've also seen mountain bikers on it too. All trails has ~ accurate distances for the road and offshoots. The road is dort/gravel, but be prepared for taller vegetation between the tire tracks. ~~~~ While not on the map, as you are going into the trail, at some point, there is an offshoot to your left (around the blue grates you walk or run over). That trail goes uphill and is not as well marked, but there are tree trunks/branches marking most of the trail edges. This adds considerable distance woth respect to the overall trail length (see photo from my run, it's the big loop). Picnic tables maybe 200 m from the entrance, where the trail opens into a field.
