My husband and I recently moved to Shawsville and stopped by the Meadowbrook Museum this morning. It was so cool! The museum features an incredible collection of Shawsville history- we loved getting to see local artifacts of the area. In particular, I enjoyed seeing all of the handmade textile art- especially the antique yo-yo quilt and hand knotted rugs. A couple of very kind ladies showed us around the museum and welcomed us to the area- we instantly felt at home and were impressed with their knowledge of the area. We will be back to enjoy this quaint museum and its history of Shawsville. Definitely a neat place to check out.
